After our response to them trying to take him back 2 weeks early, could you blame them if it turns out to be true?

Are you saying we should have returned Joe Hart, when Given got injured ?

Re-phrased the words "No Thanks" in a more symbiotic framework that included Premier Rules of Engagement?

As usual I think I know what you are getting at, or inferring, but you never actually say, do you?

he saved a penalty tonight for City and is playing really well. He will start the season with them

So Brucie should go for Given on loan :LMAO:

Although he might be getting a bit close to the 8/25 home grown thingy.

- as Lowdham and myself agreed on another thread, how can Brucie be contemplating selling Furwrap to Ipswich and asking for a loan at the same time.

I mean he's already got Maik's understudy for NI.( Trevor Carson) - Why the need for a loan ?

But Man City could be the "nasty" club couldn't they, and refuse - then Brucie can say he tried and try and quell the growing dissatisfaction with him.

A bit like Sully going for Beckham and Henry when you think about it.

:D

the paper talk is just stupid this year.

i am bored of it all.

don't believe anything i read anymore

Bruce has real confidence in his keepers then. I bet they feel really good reading this. Sometimes i think the papers right things just to upset players at certain clubs.

A bit like the mail do with us, big up the vile and treat us like second citizens

I think, on this whole Joe Hart thing, if it even is a thing, that Hart will be Man City's first goal keeper soon enough and the hub-ub about him being loaned or traded is going to disapear fast.

Can't really predict this one until the transfers in this window are concluded!

But on the unlikely assumption that Dembele could debut for us at Sunderland even as a sub, and the way our existing strikers are performing atm we could hammer the black cats 3-1 IMO!

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is ready to make a significant offer to bring Manchester City reserve keeper Joe Hart to the Emirates. As the likes of Sunderland reportedly look to capture the England international on loan the Gunners manager is hoping that an offer to sign the £8m rated on a permanent basis may succeed as Roberto Mancini looks to trim his ever expanding Eastlands squad.

With Shay Given set to be handed the starting spot at the club the 23 year old will be concerned about having to sit out the season on the bench, something he managed to avoid last term by being farmed out for a very successful stint at St Andrews’ where his efforts at Birmingham City were well noted.

Mark Hughes looks set to repel the north London club’s advances for veteran keeper Mark Schwarzer and Wenger is reportedly desperate to bring in a new custodian rather than trust the likes of blunder prone pair Manuel Almunia and Lukasz Fabianski.

Hart would surely jump at such a move and whilst Mancini may well rate the former Shrewsbury goalie he also won’t want to keep hold of a disillusioned player. Ideally the City boss may want to send the talented youngster out on another loan spell but may settle for allowing him to leave.

Man City already have the likes of Stuart Taylor and Colombian international David Gonzalez in his squad so could probably afford to consider such a sale if the price was right

sounds more realistic than a move to blunderland **thumbup

I think it's well documented what happened, just think we may have shot ourselves in the foot where Man City are concerned.
